Chantal Whittaker Memorial Scholarship 

Mourant has ambitious plans for the future of our Cayman office that can only be realised with the talent and expertise of the people we recruit. We continue to look for highly qualified and committed graduates with a global perspective who are mutually committed to excellence in their academic and professional lives.

The Chantal Whittaker Memorial Scholarship was established to honour the memory of our beloved colleague. Chantal was a star within our firm and her personal commitment to mentoring, fostering community spirit and helping young people to develop and grow left a legacy which the firm strives to continue.

Our scholarship programme provides financial assistance towards the cost of study for Caymanian students who intend to qualify, or who are appropriately qualified and have been accepted into an accredited institution to pursue a career in law.

What do we provide?

  • Yearly payments to cover tuition, books and living allowance for up to four years
  • Opportunity of paid work experience during the summer
  • Personal mentor
  • Possibility of a training contract with Mourant when you finish your studies 

Eligibility

  • To be eligible to apply, you must be Caymanian and you must have been accepted into an accredited institution.
