Jersey Trainee Solicitor Programme

If you're looking to start your career in law and qualify as a Solicitor in England and Wales, Jersey, or both jurisdictions, our Trainee Solicitor Programme is designed for you.

Our two/three year Trainee Solicitor Programme provides hands-on practical legal experience within a collaborative, supportive and award-winning environment. The programme consists of at least four different 'seats' across a number of different practice groups. You'll receive mentoring support while working alongside our experienced lawyers on challenging, complex and high-profile matters, providing you with a diverse understanding of various areas and aspects of law.

• A degree or graduating in 2024, 2025 or 2026 - graduates from all courses welcome
• Jersey residential qualifications
• Committed to pursuing a career in law
• A keen collaborator with great attention to detail
• An effective communicator who is well organised

Our Process

1) Application

• During the application, we'll ask a blend of anticipated and impromptu questions
• Applications close Friday 31st May

2) Shortlisting

• We'll consider all aspects of your application, inviting shortlisted candidates to participate in assessment activities and interviews

3) Selection

• If you're selected, you'll undergo online assessment activities and an interview with partners
• Assessment Centre activities will take place w/c 10th June

4) Offer

• Successful candidates will receive an offer and confirmation of their start date in 2024, 2025 or 2026 (depending on factors such as when you graduate or your preferred start date)
