We're really excited to be partnering with the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust in an island-wide community project in Jersey. Go Wild Gorillas will see forty life-sized gorilla sculptures placed around the island this summer, creating a vibrant public art trail.

The Go Wild Gorillas project is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to discover art, explore the beautiful surroundings in Jersey and enjoy time together.

Mourant Jersey Managing Partner, Daniel Birtwistle, said: "As a large employer, we recognise the real importance of focusing on our people's wellbeing and promoting a healthy lifestyle. This vibrant art trail is a great way to encourage people of all ages to reconnect with nature and get outdoors while also supporting Durrell as they fundraise for a new gorilla house at Jersey Zoo."

To reflect our firm's global perspective, we've selected a vibrant Chinese inspired design for our life-sized gorilla, created by up-and-coming artist Jessica Perrin. Her striking, imaginative design beautifully captures a piece of Asian culture that we look forward to bringing some international colour to Jersey in July.

As a further investment, we're also partnering with Samares School to help their pupils decorate their very own young gorilla sculpture and also connect them with an emerging artist.

We're very pleased to be supporting this innovative project in Durrell's 60th anniversary year and look forward to seeing the whole community embrace this unique event running from 27 July – 14 October 2019.
