Junior Achievement Programme in the Cayman Islands

We were proud to sponsor the latest Junior Achievement (JA) Programme in the Cayman Islands, run by the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce.

JA Cayman Islands is part of the world’s largest not-for-profit organisation offering in-school and after-school practical programmes dedicated to preparing students for success.

The JA Programmes inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy through education focused around entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness.

Junior Achievement at Mourant

As part of the JA Programme, we sponsored a local student-led team to put real business concepts into practice.

The students created their own fictitious company, ‘Carry the Culture’ and launched their first product – custom-designed tote bags – to sell to the public. They also designed the logos to be centred around Cayman cultural themes.

The company’s revenue has reached an impressive CI$14,000 to date.

Celebrating success

In June, the 2026 intake of young entrepreneurs were celebrated at the annual Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Junior Achievement Awards ceremony.
