Supporting Cayman Little League baseball
As the 2026 Cayman Islands Little League baseball season comes to a close, we are proud to reflect on our sponsorship of one of this year’s teams and the positive impact the programme continues to have across the local community.
This season, our firm’s sponsorship supported a Tee Ball team (ages 5–6), helping introduce young players to the game in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.
The programme has seen incredible participation, with over 600 registrations across the league this year, a milestone that highlights the growing enthusiasm for youth sport on island.
Throughout the season, the Little League provided young players with the opportunity to develop teamwork, confidence, and a love of the game, supported by dedicated coaches and engaged parents.
Our team’s weekly Saturday morning games quickly became a highlight, bringing together families, volunteers, and supporters to celebrate the progress and energy of Cayman’s young athletes.
A big congratulations to all of the players and thanks to the coaches and organisers for their efforts in making the 2026 season such a memorable one.
At Mourant, we are committed to supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work.
Grassroots programmes like Little League play an important role in shaping the next generation, both on and off the field, and we are delighted to have been part of this journey.
As a firm, we are proud supporters of grassroots sport. In January, we announced our partnership with the Cayman Islands Basketball Association as official sponsor of its Inter-Primary School Boys and Girls Basketball Leagues. This partnership will directly support youth development and grassroots sport in the Cayman Islands.
We also recently pledged our support to the Mourant Girls Academy, part of the wider Guernsey Football Association (GFA), for a sixth consecutive year.
