AIMA Digital Assets Conference

The 5th annual AIMA Digital Assets Conference returns to New York on May 14 2026 to explore and discuss the world of digital assets and institutional investing.

Building on the work of the AIMA Digital Assets Working Group (DAWG), the conference dives into how institutions invest in digital assets, while giving opportunities to connect with peers worldwide.

  • The day starts with breakfast networking and small investor roundtables, followed by opening remarks and an early discussion on lessons from crypto’s cyclical nature.
  • Morning sessions focus on the institutionalisation of digital assets, including barriers to scaling, trends in fund management, and the case for crypto hedge funds.
  • Parallel breakout sessions run alongside the main stage, covering areas such as equity and credit opportunities, quantum risk, and due diligence for digital asset managers.
  • Afternoon discussions explore tokenisation, custody and compliance challenges, stablecoins, and the evolving structure of digital asset markets.
  • The agenda closes with sessions on litigation, regulation, and the future of asset management, ending with a regulatory outlook conversation and a networking reception.
