Workshop: AML inspection readiness workshop for DNFBPs
Thursday 21 May | 9:30 – 11:30am | Azure Ballroom at the Hotel Indigo
Designated non-financial businesses and professions (DNFBPs) will be dealing with an increased focus on AML supervision in the run-up to Cayman’s next mutual evaluation in December 2027.
As regulatory expectations continue to strengthen, our AML experts will provide practical guidance on navigating an AML audit undertaken by a supervisory authority.
The presenters bring first hand experience from a regulator’s perspective and will offer expert insights on how to demonstrate compliance confidently and effectively.
What to expect
Throughout the workshop, you will gain a clear understanding of the AML framework applicable to DNFBPs, with a practical focus on:
- Pre visit preparation
- Clear and timely provision of information
- Recognising regulatory ‘flags’ and applying a risk-based approach
- Post visit actions and remediation
Who should attend?
This workshop is designed for compliance professionals in accountancy, legal and real estate practices, as well as dealers in precious metals and stones, who wish to strengthen their audit readiness and ensure they meet supervisory expectations.
