Tax Planning Challenges for Trustees
As the line between avoidance and evasion continues to blur, we'd like you to join us for a webinar where we'll be looking at tax planning challenges for trustees.
With governments now working out how to replenish their coffers, the challenges faced by trustees in implementing and managing tax planning have never been greater.
On Tuesday 2 March, Mourant Partner, Justin Harvey-Hills and Counsel Katie Hooper, will examine best practice in considering and implementing tax planning arrangements, and give practical guidance on steps which can be taken to ensure any planning is as robust as possible, with an eye on any future challenges.
As trust litigation specialists, they will focus in particular on how to deal with problems as they arise, including how to best engage with queries from Revenue authorities, as well as manage what can be divergent interests of beneficiaries, with a view to achieving a consensual and practical outcome.
This is not a technical tax session, but we hope that this seminar will provide you with a toolkit and framework to deal with any tax planning issues in a highly practical manner.
