We have now opened applications for a popular student summer scheme in Guernsey.

Our Governance Services Summer Scheme is designed for students currently studying for A-levels (or equivalent) or at university, and who are interested in discovering more about a career in financial services.

The Summer Scheme offers two to four weeks’ paid work experience in our Guernsey office, providing a valuable insight into the world of corporate and trust administration and accounting.

Students will be provided with a personal mentor for the duration of the work experience, in addition to the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Our Mourant Governance Services team supports clients including financial institutions, asset managers, global corporates, high-net-worth individuals and family offices. The firm also routinely works in partnership with the most prestigious international legal and accountancy firms.

“Our Summer Scheme is an invaluable opportunity for students to gain meaningful, hands‑on experience within the financial services industry. By working alongside our talented teams and receiving dedicated mentoring, participants can build confidence, develop practical skills and really understand what a future career in this sector might look like. We’re proud to support the next generation of talent in Guernsey and to offer a pathway that has the potential to lead to exciting and rewarding professional opportunities.”

Applications for the programme opens on 1 April 2026 and can be made via our website.

Also in the Channel Islands, we run a range of paid student programmes in our Jersey office which opened on 1 April 2026.
