Asad Khan

I am an Associate in the Finance & Corporate team in Jersey, having joined the firm in December 2025 after qualifying as a Solicitor in England and Wales.

I hold a Ph.D. in corporate insolvency law from the University of Nottingham. I am a published author with multiple articles in leading legal journals, and my research has been cited by the UK Government.

My practice focuses on both front-end financings and back-end distressed situations, alongside advising on a suite of corporate transactions including M&As and JVs.

Prior to joining Mourant, I worked at BCLP LLP in London where I completed my training.
