Overview

Overview

I’m a Partner in the Jersey Litigation and International Trusts and Private Client practices, with extensive experience of a wide range of contentious areas gained whilst practising as a litigator in both London and Jersey, including insolvency, banking, fraud and professional negligence.

Since moving to Jersey in 2004, I’ve had a particular focus on contentious trusts and private client work. I regularly act and appear as an Advocate for institutional clients (including trustees, banks, insolvency practitioners and fund service providers), as well as HNW and UHNW individuals and families, and have been involved in some of the largest and most complex trust and private client-related cases to have come before the Jersey Court.

Alongside dealing with hostile litigation, I frequently advise trustees and beneficiaries on the various issues which can arise in the course of the administration of private wealth structures, in contentious and non-contentious circumstances alike.

I qualified as an English solicitor with City firm Gouldens (now Jones Day), practising as a litigator there before joining Mourant in 2004.

I became a Partner in 2010, led Jersey Litigation from 2015, and was made Global Practice Leader for Litigation and Dispute Resolution in 2022.

I am recommended in both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500, and I feature on the Citywealth Leaders List for Contentious Trusts, Corporate and Regulatory. I am recognised as a Global Leader for Asset Recovery, Private Client and Professional Negligence by Lexology Index, and in the Private Client Global Elite Directory.
