Dalton Turner

I’m a Senior Associate in our Cayman Islands Corporate and Finance team, specialising in investment funds.

I advise investment managers, sponsors and institutional investors on a broad range of Cayman Islands investment fund matters, with particular experience in private equity and hedge funds. My practice covers the full lifecycle of Cayman Islands fund structures, including fund formation and launches, ongoing operations and governance, restructurings, secondary transactions and wind-downs.

I also advise clients on corporate and commercial matters arising in connection with their Cayman Islands structures, including corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions and other cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining Mourant, I worked at leading offshore law firms in the Cayman Islands. Before moving to the Cayman Islands, I practised in the corporate group at Stikeman Elliott in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
