Lisa Evans

As Counsel in our Guernsey Litigation team, I am an Advocate with over 30 years’ experience across both public and private practice.

I began my professional life at the Bar of England & Wales practising civil law for 11 years before joining the Australian Bar and working at the Queensland Attorney General’s Office. I qualified as a Guernsey Advocate in 2011.

Having worked for the Guernsey regulator and as a director of a privately-owned trust company, I have particular expertise in regulatory matters including disciplinary proceedings for legal and financial professionals, contentious trust matters including providing advice to trustees, beneficiaries and protectors, and contractual disputes.  I am also experienced in employment law issues having previously been head of the Dispute Resolution team in a large retail employer with multi-jurisdictional entities.
