Alicia Phang

Overview

I'm a Senior Associate at Mourant Ozannes (Hong Kong) LLP in the Finance and Corporate team.

I have a broad range of banking and finance experience. I advise on fund finance, acquisition finance, structured finance (including off-balance sheet structures), debt capital markets, general banking, syndicated and corporate lending.

I also have experience in Islamic financing where I advised on various Islamic financing facilities and Islamic bonds (Sukuk) in accordance with the applicable Shariah principles.

Before joining Mourant, I worked in the Finance team for another offshore law firm in Hong Kong. Prior to that, I worked for Albar & Partners in Malaysia.

• Registered foreign lawyer, The Law Society of Hong Kong, 2019
• Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, Malaysian Bar, 2012 (currently non-practising)
• LLB from University of London
