The Limited Partnerships (Continuance) (Jersey) Regulations 2023 (the Regulations) are a renewal of the Limited Partnerships (Continuance) (Jersey) Regulations 2020 which were triennial regulations. The Regulations permit a foreign limited partnership to continue in Jersey as a limited partnership under the Limited Partnerships (Jersey) Law 1994, provided certain conditions are met.

This guide summarises the process for such a continuance (also commonly referred to as ‘migration’), together with the eligibility criteria and other key considerations from a Jersey perspective.
