I am a Senior Associate within the Litigation and Insolvency practice in the BVI.

I deal with a broad range of matters including shareholder disputes, insolvency matters, civil fraud, breach of contract, trust related disputes and cross-border enforcement of judgments and arbitration awards, including in connection with digital assets and cryptocurrencies.

Before moving to the BVI in November 2024, I was an Associate at DWF in England, where I acquired extensive experience of High Court commercial litigation and a strong interest in international arbitration.

I was also on a secondment at Department for Business and Trade, where I advised civil servants on issues concerning compensation to victims of a large-scale miscarriage of justice.

I’m originally from Latvia and speak Latvian and Russian fluently.
