Adrian Dobbyn

I’m a director and Head of Luxembourg Corporate Governance for Mourant Governance Services. I am responsible for leading Mourant’s corporate governance offering in Luxembourg.

I qualified as a solicitor in Dublin with William Fry in 2010. I relocated from Dublin to Luxembourg in 2011 and worked in what is now the Luxembourg office of Harneys advising a range of international corporate clients on corporate, M&A and capital markets matters.  In 2015, I moved to the independent business law firm which subsequently became Mourant’s Luxembourg office advising on a broad range of M&A, private equity, joint venture and international restructuring transactions. I spent some time consulting for La Caisse, a Canadian private equity investor, where I managed the European subsidiaries in their real estate portfolio before returning to Mourant in 2025.

By combining a common law background, civil law experience and substantial transactional work in Luxembourg I am well placed to understand the needs of international clients using Luxembourg as an investment platform. Our clients include financial institutions, asset managers, global corporates and high net worth individuals. We routinely work in partnership with the most prestigious international legal and accountancy firms.
