The Qualifying Asset Holding Company (QAHC) regime was introduced in the UK in April 2022, with the aim of making the UK a competitive location for asset management and investment funds, which tend to be structured through more established EU based fund jurisdictions such as Ireland or Luxembourg. In this summary, we look at the benefits of a QAHC and the comparison of structuring via a UK company or Jersey company.
