IWIRC 2026 Leadership Summit & Flagship International Conference

Taking place on Wednesday 3 June, the IWIRC Leadership Summit is open to International Board Members, Advisory Council members, Strategic Plan Task Force Members, past International Board Chairs, and current Network Chairs.

The Flagship International Conference is open to all and will begin on the Wednesday evening with welcome cocktails, followed by a gala and dinner at the iconic Shelbourne Hotel, an elegant landmark overlooking St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin.

The conference sessions will run on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 June. On the Friday, Jessica Vickers from our Cayman Litigation team will take part in the panel discussion ‘The Intersection of Arbitration and Bankruptcy: Stays, Governing Law, and Awards.’

This session, tailored for restructuring and insolvency legal professionals, will examine how insolvency moratoria interact with ongoing or contemplated arbitration, whether and when the stay applies, and which law governs when insolvency collides with arbitration (lex fori concursus vs lex arbitri vs governing contract law).
