Mourant assist Co-op with Five Oaks Business Park deal

Mourant, a law firm-led professional services business, has assisted The Channel Islands Co-operative Society with a 21-year lease at the newly constructed retail unit at Five Oaks Business Park.

The £12m business park comprises a Co-operative food store, self-storage facility and industrial unit measuring 10,300 sq ft.

Mourant advised the Co-operative on a pre-let agreement, which was signed off-plan before the development started, and saw the deal through to completion and passing of the lease before Court last week.

The lease marks the next phase of the Co-operative's retail expansion in Jersey. Mourant also assisted the Co-operative last year with its new store at Sion.
