Elettra Vercella-Baglione

I am a Senior Associate in the Luxembourg Investment Funds practice at Mourant, where I advise fund sponsors and institutional investors on the full spectrum of legal and regulatory matters relating to alternative investment funds.

My practice covers the structuring, formation, marketing, and ongoing operation of funds across asset classes including real estate, private equity, debt, and venture capital.

I have been a member of Milan Bar (Italy) since 2017 and Luxembourg Bar (List IV) since 2022.

I joined Mourant in 2025, having previously worked in the alternative Investment Funds practice at Arendt & Medernach in Luxembourg and at Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici in Milan (Italy) where I focused on corporate law in both the private and public sectors, with particular emphasis on domestic and cross‑border M&A, private equity, and restructuring transactions.

I hold a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Corporate Law, Financial Markets and Competition Law from Bocconi University Law School (Italy) and an LLM in Business and Finance Law from the George Washington University Law School (Washington D.C., USA).
