Overview

I am the Head of the Litigation and Insolvency department in our Cayman Islands office. I have more than 26 years' experience as a civil and commercial litigator and was appointed Queen's Counsel in February 2017.

Recognised as a trusted adviser and first port of call for clients and intermediaries, I regularly appear as an Advocate before the Cayman Islands Grand Court and Court of Appeal.

My work focuses on advising and representing trustees, settlors and beneficiaries in complex cross-border trust and estate disputes. It also covers regulatory investigations, fraud and asset tracing, receiverships, contentious property disputes and intellectual property.

I speak regularly at trust conferences and seminars, and have written articles for Solicitors Journal, New Law Journal and PLC Magazine.

I’ve been accepted by federal and state courts in the USA as an expert on Cayman Islands law.
