Victory for Mourant in the Supertri Jersey Corporate Challenge 2026

A big congratulations to the Mourant team, ‘Be Inspired,’ who won first place at the Supertri Jersey Corporate Challenge in Jersey on Friday 4 September.

Hosted by UBS, the Supertri Corporate Challenge is an accessible, 60-minute team relay event. Teams comprise six members who rotate relay-style for a full hour to make up the maximum combined distance.

The 2026 challenge combined a flat outdoor run loop along the Elizabeth Marina Wall with outdoor stationary cycle (on Wattbikes) within transition area at the main finish line.

Despite some very tough competition, we were delighted to celebrate our team, made up of Jonny Amy, Jon Woolrich, George Rice, Mike Jones, Peter Holmes and Michael Pih, claiming the top spot on the day.

“We’re incredibly proud to have come away with the win for Mourant. The Supertri Corporate Challenge is a fantastic event that exemplifies teamwork, determination and a healthy competitive spirit.

“All participants gave it their all, and it was great to be part of such an exciting race weekend alongside some of the biggest names in triathlon, including Olympic champions.

“We’d also like to thank UBS and the organisers for putting on such an outstanding event.”

The Supertri Jersey Corporate Challenge formed part of the wider Supertri race weekend in Jersey.

This year, the event served as the finale of Supertri’s 2026 season, which was televised around the world and featured a prize pot of more than US$800,000.

In the men’s race, Olympic champion Alex Yee took on a star-studded field including Olympic silver medallist Hayden Wilde, reigning world champion and winner of the race, Matt Hauser. British triathlon legend Jonny Brownlee (who announced his retirement from the sport just two days prior to the event) was also there to spectate and cheer on his usual competitors.

The women’s line-up comprised Olympic champion Cassandre Beaugrand, who won the 2026 race, as well as the sport’s most decorated female Olympian and Supertri’s most successful athlete, Georgia Taylor-Brown.
