The 'Tech Guru' joins Mourant as Chief Transformation Officer

We are delighted to announce the further strengthening of our leadership team with the appointment of Tom Grogan as Chief Transformation Officer.
Tom joins Mourant from Mishcon de Reya, where he was labelled the 'Tech Guru' by leading legal publication The Lawyer. At Mishcon, he played a pivotal role in business transformation, digital strategy and innovation as Head of Emerging Technology, alongside leading its consultancy arm as divisional Chief Executive Officer. With extensive expertise in operational strategy, process optimisation and AI-driven innovation, Tom has led high-impact transformation initiatives across legal, financial and retail sectors.
Tom was one of just 19 advisors globally identified by Lexology Index as a Global Elite Thought Leader for FinTech and Blockchain in 2024. As Chief Transformation Officer, Tom will work closely with our leadership team to accelerate the business’s digital innovation, enhancing operational effectiveness, and driving strategic change.
Tom has worked extensively on leveraging technology to advance environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, helping businesses integrate sustainability into their operational strategies. His appointment reflects our commitment to harnessing technology for sustainable growth.
