MOURANT STRENGTHENS ASIA CAPABILITIES WITH SENIOR APPOINTMENTS IN SINGAPORE AND HONG KONG

We have strengthened our Asia offering with the appointment of funds specialist Costa Valtas in Singapore and governance services relationship leader Kristina Trushnikova in Hong Kong.

The appointments further strengthen our capabilities across the region as we celebrate 15 years in Asia and continue to expand our market leading offering to clients investing and operating across international financial centres.

Based between Sydney and Singapore, Costa brings significant experience advising fund managers, financial institutions and service providers on complex investment fund structures and transactions across Asia Pacific. He joins Mourant from a previous offshore firm, where he advised on a broad range of private equity, private credit, infrastructure and alternative investment structures.

He has specialist experience supporting Japanese asset managers and financial institutions, including advising on the establishment and operation of Japan focused unit trust and investment fund structures.

Kristina joins Mourant Governance Services in Hong Kong as Associate Director, Client Relationship Manager. She brings extensive experience in the financial services sector, having built a strong track record in client relationship management, corporate services and operational leadership.

Her appointment further enhances our ability to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional client service to its growing international client base.

These appointments reflect our continued investment in Asia and our commitment to providing clients with the specialist expertise they need across the region’s most important markets.

Costa’s experience advising on sophisticated investment fund structures, particularly for Japanese asset managers and investors, further strengthens our Singapore funds practice and enhances our ability to support clients accessing opportunities across Asia.

Kristina’s deep client relationship and corporate services expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow our governance services offering in Hong Kong and across the wider region.
