We are welcoming 14 Caymanian students to our Cayman Islands office this summer to participate in our annual Summer Student Internship Programme.

The programme offers an opportunity for Caymanian students who have completed at least Year 10 of High School to gain real-world experience at our firm.

From 13 – 31 July, eight interns are joining our legal practice, with six additional interns joining our Governance Services team between 3 – 21 August.

Our Legal Internship offers the chance for students to learn from our experienced lawyers, while the Governance Services Internship provides exposure to various corporate services and governance operational functions. All internships are paid.

“As an international professional services firm with strong roots in the local communities in which we’re based, we offer a range of early career programmes for students to explore the world of professional services. Our Summer Student Internship Programme will enable interns to gain valuable first-hand experience from our firm’s seasoned professionals, and will be fully supported by our collaborative, inclusive team.”

At Mourant, we are renowned for offering a range of early career programmes across our global offices.

In Cayman, alongside the Summer Student Internship Programme, we run our annual Chantal Whittaker Memorial Scholarship and Cayman Islands Articled Clerk Scheme. Applications for both reopen in December 2026.
