Cayman Islands trusts are governed by English legal principles, as supplemented by the Trusts Act (2021 Revision) (the Trusts Act). The Trusts Act is an advanced and modern piece of legislation that offers both flexibility and a high degree of protection for the parties involved which means that it's a particularly advantageous jurisdiction in which to establish a trust.
