Our Cayman Corporate team recently acted as Cayman Islands legal counsel to ARC Group Securities Acquisition I and its sponsor on its US$105 million initial public offering on the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC.
ARC Group Securities Acquisition I, a Cayman Islands-incorporated special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), began trading on 5 August 2026 under the ticker symbol “FJDI”.
The SPAC was formed to pursue an initial business combination opportunity in any business, industry, sector or geographical location. Its intention is to pursue target businesses in the technology, healthcare and logistics industries.
The Mourant team was led by Corporate Partner Tom McLaughlin, with support from Associates Wray Sulisz, Jalen Nordmark and Jaswindha Singh.
ARC Group Securities LLC acted as lead bookrunner and representative of the underwriters for the transaction.
“This latest mandate further reflects the depth of Mourant’s capital markets and SPAC expertise and continues a strong period of activity for our Corporate team advising on significant cross-border transactions. Congratulations to our client on the successful completion of this transaction.”
This project follows our Corporate team’s involvement acting as Cayman Islands legal counsel to a range of SPACs and target companies, including advising IQM Finland Oy (IQM) on its US$1.8 billion business combination with Real Asset Acquisition Corp, and advising Armada Acquisition Corp. II on its US$1 billion business combination with Evernorth Holdings Inc.
