Two at Mourant shortlisted as future leaders

11 September 2020

Two lawyers from leading offshore law firm, Mourant, have been shortlisted in the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2020, with an online public vote helping to decide the winner in both their categories.

Katie Hooper and Chris Vincent both work in the international firm's Jersey Litigation practice.

Katie is Counsel and an experienced advocate, specialising in contentious trusts and private client, commercial and insolvency matters. She has been shortlisted in the "IFC Lawyer of the Year- Senior/Managing Associate" category.

Chris is an Associate and specialises in all aspects of commercial litigation and contentious advisory work. He has been shortlisted in the "IFC Lawyer of the Year- Associate" category in the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards. This follows his recognition by ePrivateclient last year, when he was named in its Channel Islands Top 35 under 35 list.

Mourant Partner, Bruce Lincoln, said: "It's fantastic to see two members of our team shortlisted. Both Katie and Chris are future leaders but also lead within their roles every day. We are committed to the growth and development of our people at Mourant and this recognition from Citywealth is testament to that."

The Citywealth Future Leaders Awards programme, now in its sixth year, champions young professionals in the wealth sector and highlights those under forty who are making waves in the industry.

Katie and Chris will be judged by an international panel of wealth management professionals while members of the public can also contribute through an online vote, which will account for 10% of the final outcome.

The public online voting closes on 15 October 2020 and results will be announced in London on 11 November.
