Mourant announces 40 promotions globally

Leading offshore legal and governance services firm Mourant has announced 40 promotions globally, effective 1 May 2021.

The appointments span the firm's six offices, with 19 promotions* in the legal practice, 17 in affiliated business, Mourant Governance Services and four in Business Services, with 60% of the promotions women reflecting the firm's continued focus on progressing female talent.

In total there were 20 promotions in Jersey, nine in Cayman, four in Guernsey, three in both Hong Kong and London and one in the BVI.

Mourant currently employs around 500 people and has won three major legal industry awards in the last six months, after being named Offshore Law Firm of the Year by Chambers Europe and Offshore Law Firm of the Year at both the Lawyer Awards and the Asian Legal Business Hong Kong Law Awards.
