Mourant assists Mirion to become a public traded company on the NYSE

A team at Mourant led by Neil McCarroll and Mark Chambers were pleased to assist Charterhouse Capital Partners and Mirion Technologies Inc to enable Mirion to become a public traded company on the NYSE. 

The transaction was achieved through a business combination with GS Acquisition Holdings Corp II, a US special purpose acquisition vehicle (SPAC) sponsored by an affiliate of Goldman Sachs. 

Mirion is a leading provider of detection, measurement, analysis and monitoring solutions to the nuclear, defense, medical and research end markets. 

Prior to the closing of the business combination, Mirion was majority owned by Charterhouse Capital Partners LLP (“Charterhouse”), one of the longest established private equity firms operating in Europe, which first invested in Mirion in 2015.
